monogramming

we are thrilled to offer monogramming for a selection of our kate spade new york handbags, small leather goods, bracelets, and hangtags.

THE STYLES

styles available for monogramming are labeled. to view all items that can be monogrammed, please click here.

MONOGRAMMING STYLE

we are offering a gold foil stamping technique, available in times new roman font. font sizes are as follows: 36 point font for handbags, 24 point font for wallets & small leather goods.

we are not able to make any exceptions to the monogram font color, style or sizes. each item we offer has a dedicated monogram size that cannot be changed.

CHOOSING YOUR MONOGRAM

initials will be monogrammed in the order they are entered on the website. the size and placement of the monogram is pre-determined. you may select up to three initials or letters.

THE PLACEMENT

the placement of the monogram will be automated on the style with the chosen initials.

traditionally, when all three letters are the same size (as they are on our monogrammed products), the letters appear in the order the name is normally written: first, middle, last or first, last. (only when the size of the middle letter is larger does the order change – for example, in the case of a larger letter, the order would be first, last, middle.)

RETURNS

styles personalized through our monogramming program are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

WARRANTY

the monogrammed item remains under our one year warranty, but we do not offer a warranty for the actual monogram.

these stickers are intended to adhere to flat, smooth surfaces, and can be applied to most materials (leather handbags, plastic phone cases, fabric notebooks…), but they are designed to stay put the first time. apply heat with hair dryer for 10 seconds to maximize the connection.

PURCHASING GIFT CARDS & E-GIFT CARDS

  • e-gift cards can be sent via email to any individual with a valid email address. the recipient of an e-gift card will receive one email including two important numbers: the e-gift card number and the PIN.
  • gift cards may be shipped in the united states only.
  • as with any purchase, you will receive a confirmation email once the gift card is shipped or once the e-gift card email is sent to the recipient.
  • a gift card cannot be purchased using another gift card or e-gift card. the same applies to e-gift cards.

REDEEMING A GIFT CARD

  • our gift cards and e-gift cards are redeemable at, katespade.com, kate spade new york specialty shops and kate spade new york outlet shops in the United States only. a Kate Spade Saturday gift card can be redeemed for kate spade new york products.
  • our gift cards and e-gift cards cannot be redeemed at department stores or non-brand specialty stores.
  • you may apply multiple gift cards or e-gift cards to a purchase.
  • to apply the balance of a gift card or an e-gift card, simply enter the gift card number and PIN in the appropriate fields in the payment step of our checkout process.
  • on a physical gift card, the gift card number is a 19-digit number printed on the back of the card. the PIN is a four digit number found under the silver scratch-off patch also on the back of the card.
    the gift card number and PIN for an e-gift card can be found in the e-gift card email message sent to you.

note: if using a kate spade new york e-gift card issued before march 2013, the e-gift card number and PIN needed will have been sent in separate email messages. please refer to both email messages to apply this e-gift card.

  • purchases made with gift cards will be charged applicable sales tax.
  • if the value of your gift card does not cover the order total, the remaining balance must be paid using a valid form of payment.
